in 2004, i began this venture of capturing the true spirit of little ones. it started in jackson, tn when we moved there from dallas shortly after the birth of our 2nd son. like most moms with little ones, i was home A LOT. i’m the kind of person that likes to work on projects, so to just sit and play with the boys was hard for me. so, i brought out my camera.

through the lens, i discovered the beauty of my children. in their eyes . . . i saw delight. in their smile . . . i saw mischief. in their tiny toes . . . i saw a perfect design. simply precious. as one child played with “fishie” and the other with “pooh blankie”, i realized i did not want to loose these moments, so i journaled through photography.

from there, friends asked me to capture their children and encouraged me to start a business. thanks to many people in jackson, baby pix photography was a success.

the summer of 2008 we moved to asheville, nc. my husband had been a pastor at fellowship bible church in jackson (a branch off fellowship bible church, little rock) and we were given the opportunity to plant another one here in asheville. needless to say, we were very excited to move to such an awesome place. we absolutely love it here!

after settling in, baby pix photography re-launched in fall 2009 with a more artistic style and higher quality products.
